An interesting study on this is the "CosIng Database Analysis and Experimental Studies to Promote Latin American Plant Biodiversity for Cosmetic Use" by Karent Bravo. This study shows why the use of these ingredients may not yet be so widespread in Europe, although this is wrongly the case.
